Owner: Edison Arts Foundation | Architect: Studio Red Architects
The Edison Arts Foundation is a fine arts organization with a mission to strengthen the community through cultural and performing arts. The foundation purchased a long-abandoned Kroger shopping center with the vision to revitalize the center for the underserved neighborhood. Arch-Con’s scope of work includes the 77,800-square-foot renovation to the shell and core of the building and build-out of spaces for the Afterschool Arts Academy. This project was financed with federal funds and administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Arch-Con utilizes Minority/Women-Owned/Small Business Enterprises (MWSBE) and Section 3 subcontractors.
