Oldham Goodwin Breaks Ground on SpringHill Suites New Braunfels River Village
NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS (June 6, 2025) – Oldham Goodwin is pleased to announce the official groundbreaking of SpringHill Suites by Marriott, an eight-story, 150-key, all-suite riverfront hotel located in the heart of New Braunfels, Texas. As part of the larger River Village Development, this thoughtfully designed hotel will offer a contemporary hospitality experience while honoring the city’s historic charm and natural surroundings.
Located at 738 IH 35 North, on the banks of the Guadalupe River, the 150,000-square-foot SpringHill Suites New Braunfels River Village is positioned to become a sought-after destination for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel offers upscale accommodations in a setting that celebrates the rich history and natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. Toher with the adjacent 125-room Courtyard by Marriott – successfully managed long-term by Oldham Goodwin – guests will enjoy direct access to over 700 feet of river frontage. A scenic landscaped and lighted path connects the two properties, creating a cohesive hospitality campus within the River Village Development. Arch-Con® Corporation is serving as the general contractor for the project, bringing their extensive experience and commitment to excellence to the development of this exciting hospitality destination.

The hotel will feature more than 14,000 square feet of sophisticated food and beverage spaces, anchored by Paloma Suerte, a signature indoor/outdoor Tex-Mex dining destination crafted by acclaimed Chef Tim Love. Introducing his celebrated Fort Worth concept to the Texas Hill Country, Paloma Suerte will offer refined yet approachable Mexican cuisine, signature craft cocktails, and vibrant design elements merging Old West charm with bold Mexican flavor.
